HGV Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager

Celebrating our 25th Anniversary in 2018, we are leading specialists in the sale of used commercial vehicles. M M Acquisitions Ltd have expanded rapidly throughout the last 25 years, our customer base is largely through recommendations, word of mouth and our excellent customer service. We have expanded our premises with its own workshop; allowing any refurbishments to be completed by our specialist team, reducing waiting time for our customers

We are now looking to recruit a HGV Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager to further support and grow the business. The successful candidate for the position will have previous experience in a similar role as commercial vehicle sales experience is essential.

Reporting to the Sales Director, your main duties will include the sale of used trucks from our wide range of commercial vehicle stock, prospecting, welcoming and engaging customers, progressing vehicle sales, handing over vehicles and reaching realistic targets. You will need to develop relationships effortlessly and follow-up with customers, you will be target driven and focused on delivering outstanding customer service.

The person we are looking for will be from a Heavy commercial vehicle sales background. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be a confident communicator. You need to be honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and respond well to challenging situations.

Leads are predominantly received by phone, email and website enquiries, although you will also be expected to prospect additional leads from existing and potential new customers.

Duties:

  • Dealing with new and existing sales leads via phone, email and WhatsApp
  • Follow the sales process from initial enquiry, through to sale/order and up to handover to Customer
  • Tracking new leads into the business and closing the deal at every opportunity
  • Build solid rapport with customers, and suppliers to establish deals and discounts and have complete knowledge of stock availability
  • Propose customers to various finance companies ensuring correct information is provided to the finance company, the customer and the administration department
  • Answer any queries the customer may have regarding their vehicle efficiently and accurately
  • Evaluate customer part exchange enquiries and valuations
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities by engaging with transport companies / owner operators who may be looking to sell or buy used commercial vehicles

Hours:

Monday - Friday between 07:30 – 17:30 and Saturday 08:00 - 13:00.

What's on offer:

  • Salary £40,000 basic - upto £80,000 based on commission.
